"Shihu" (wild octopus) is a wild octopus unique to Penghu. It is small and often inhabits the intertidal zones and crevices of nearshore reefs. Excellent at camouflage, it is one of the highly representative marine creatures in Penghu waters and is deeply integrated into the local food culture and memory.Inspired by the wild octopus, this artwork transforms its flexibly dancing postures into colorful giant tentacle installations, weaving into a rhythmic marine light corridor. Stepping into it, viewers feel as if they are entering a fantasy world under the intertidal zone, experiencing the life form of the octopus weaving through reefs and hiding underwater, while tasting the unique charm born from the combination of Penghu's marine ecology and local food culture amidst the light and shadow.
