Residents walk onto the tidal flats holding lamps, continuing the generational wisdom of "Zhao Hai" (illuminating the sea), searching in the glimmer for shells, crabs, octopuses, and the ocean memories left behind by the tide.
The artwork uses light and shadow to depict the daily life of Penghu people who live by the sea and work with the tide, allowing viewers to feel a profound human connection, one of respect, understanding, and care for the ocean, amid the flowing light and shadow.
