The highly anticipated annual "2026 Penghu Music & Light Festival" is just around the corner, and the identity of the most talked-about mysterious guest from South Korea has finally been revealed: KYUHYUN, a member of the Hallyu superstar group Super Junior, will headline the opening night. The announcement instantly sparked passionate discussions among fans, creating massive hype for the festival even before it begins, making it one of the most anticipated grand music events this autumn. The "2026 Penghu Music & Light Festival" will be held from September 12 to October 3, featuring five themed concerts across four consecutive weekends plus an extra show on September 13. Among them, the "Dazzling 'SING' Light Opening Night" on September 12 boasts a luxurious lineup, featuring TRASH and this year's Golden Melody Awards Best Mandarin Male Singer nominee Crowd Lu, alongside KYUHYUN. In fact, KYUHYUN has developed a profound bond with Taiwan in recent years. He has served as the tourism ambassador for the Taiwan Tourism Administration for two consecutive years and has held concerts multiple times in Taipei, Kaohsiung, and Chiayi. Passionate about Taiwan's culinary and travel culture, he frequently recommends the beautiful island to South Korean fans.
